Frequently Asked Questions

  • Regular tithing is an important part of a believer’s spiritual health because it reflects where our trust and dependence lie. Tithing is a spiritual discipline that helps align our hearts with the truth that God is our ultimate Provider.

The amount itself is not as important as the devotion and sincerity behind the giving. We give not out of obligation or duty, but as a response of love, trust, and gratitude to the Lord. Tithing allows us to offer our resources for God’s kingdom work and serves as an act of worship that frees us from self-reliance and pride.

Tithing also reminds us that worship is not only about receiving from God, but also about giving ourselves to Him. In response to all that God has done, we are called to offer our lives fully to His purposes. While tithing is not the entirety of worship, it is a meaningful expression of a heart that understands and lives out true worship.

  • Jubilee Church is committed to financial transparency and accountability.

All financial matters are overseen by the Board of Elders. Day-to-day financial operations are managed by the Stewardship Team, which consists of a subcommittee of elders along with the finance manager.

    To ensure transparency:

    • Monthly financial reports are submitted by the Stewardship Team to the Board of Elders.

    • A comprehensive annual financial report is shared with the congregation each spring

    • mid-year financial update is provided each fall, covering the budget, offerings, and expenses

These reports are presented during Sunday services so that the entire church can stay informed.

    Important notes:

    • For cash or bank transfer offerings, please use your full legal name when giving.

    • Please do not include additional notes in the transfer memo section.

    • If a donation is made under a different name, you must provide separate proof of the transaction for us to issue a donation receipt.

  • Direct donations to foreign charities are generally not tax-deductible for U.S. taxpayers.

However, donations made via PayPal through Jubilink.com qualify for a U.S. charitable tax deduction.

This is because Jubilink USD donations are processed through Footstool Mission Center, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

    • Annual U.S. tax receipts will be automatically emailed to you during the first week of the following year.
